Grey

Today is grey. The sky is the colour of unlit lightbulbs and the rain is drizzling so lazily, I don't think it could be any more uninspiring if it tried. I had no uni this morning so I enjoyed a lie in until almost 11am. When I finally rolled out of bed, I had to turn all my lights on because it was so gloomy.

I've spent the last few hours drinking coffee, reading blogs and watching Top Gear. I've been making a conscious effort to think about my dissertation though, sadly I still hate design at the moment so coming up with a topic is proving difficult. I can't find an eloquent and articulate way to word "why design can't save the world/why designers should all go out and get real jobs/why design is overrated in the design world". We had a seminar yesterday with Ewan Steel which was quite interesting, he assured me we'd find a way of putting it. My confidence was further enhanced when we were leaving and he announced "you're all going to do just fine... even Jo". Here's hoping.
