Over the last few days I've discovered the new iPhone app Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock. This is a really clever app which uses the accelerometer in your iPhone to monitor your movement while you sleep. From the amount you fidget, the app can work out which sleep cycle you are in - awake, light sleep/dreaming, or deep sleep. It then wakes you up when you are in your lightest sleep cycle (within half an hour of your alarm time) so you awake feeling relaxed and refreshed.
I was sceptical at first, but I must say, I am now AMAZED by it. Not only does it really work, I get a cool little graph every morning to tell me how I've slept.
If you have an iPhone, I highly recommend you buy it. Aside from making every day a little bit easier, it definitely makes you more in tune with your own body.
